reserves the right to change this policy at any time without advance notice or advertisement. When accepting coupons, we
follow the guidelines below:
 All coupons must be presented during checkout, be legible and have a scannable barcode.
 Coupons are void if copied, scanned, altered, expired, or prohibited by law.
 We reserve the right to process coupons in any order.
 Qualifying ExtraCare card must be presented at checkout to use CVS Pharmacy coupons or ExtraBucks rewards. Valid
coupons loaded to your ExtraCare card will be applied at checkout.
 We cannot scan coupon barcodes directly from a mobile device.
 You cannot exchange your coupons or ExtraBucks Rewards for cash or gift card. Neither coupons nor ExtraBucks
Rewards can be refunded or re‐issued.
 Sales tax may be charged on pre‐coupon price.
 Your purchase must include qualifying items and items purchased must match the coupon description (brand, size,
quantity, color, etc.).
 Individual coupon value cannot exceed the value of the item it is applied to.
 CVS Pharmacy coupons generally cannot be used on sale, promotional or clearance items. Other restrictions may apply.
 You can only use one time‐, brand‐, or category‐specific CVS Pharmacy coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per

 We have the right to refuse or limit the use of any coupon and/or the subsequent return for any reason and at the
discretion of CVS Pharmacy management.
Coupon policy FAQ
What happens when I want to use a coupon with a value that is higher than the amount I am purchasing?
You may still use the coupon; however, its value will drop down to the value of the amount you are purchasing.
Example:
• A $5 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value
Can I use multiple coupons on sale items?
Yes, as long as all of the coupons meet their qualifications.
Examples:
• Two $3 off $15 coupons for purchases that are $30.00 or higher.
• $3 off $15 coupon and $5 ExtraBucks® Rewards for a purchase of $15.
• $1 off toothpaste mfr. coupon and a $2 off toothpaste Coupon Center coupon for a $3 toothpaste item.
Can I use multiple coupons on sale items?
Yes, for certain coupons and certain sale items.
Examples:
• Suave shampoo is on sale for $2.00 Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) and the customer purchases two shampoos; the
customer may use two coupons for $1.00 each and pay the applicable tax. •
• Suave shampoo is on sale for $2.00 BOGO and customer has a mfr. coupon for Suave BOGO. Customer will receive both
items for free but will need to pay any applicable tax.
How do I determine the application of sales tax on my purchase that involves the use of a coupon?
Funded manufacturer’s/mfr’s coupons will generally calculate sales tax on the pre‐coupon price of the item, as required by state
law*. If the coupon is issued by CVS Pharmacy® (ExtraBucks Rewards plus ExtraSavings coupons that includes ExtraCare® Coupon
Center and myWeekly Ad circulars), the coupon is generally deemed a retailer coupon and the sales tax is calculated on the
discounted price of the item (after the coupon is applied), as required by state law. However, some CVS Pharmacy issued
coupons are “funded manufacturer’s coupons” and designated as mfr. on the face of the coupon and also on your receipt. Sales
tax is calculated on CVS Pharmacy issued mfr’s coupons on the pre‐coupon price of the item.
*Sales tax is calculated on the discounted price of the item (after the manufacturer’s coupon is applied) in the following states:
CT, MA, MO, PA, TX
Can the processing order of multiple coupons that are applied to an item affect the calculation of sales tax?
Yes. Although CVS Pharmacy reserves the right to determine the processing order of its retailer coupons issued (including
discounts earned via the ExtraSavings Programs and myWeekly Ad circulars), individual state tax laws govern the processing
order of retailer coupons vs. funded manufacturer’s coupons.
Am I limited by how many items I can buy?
There is no set limit however, store managers do reserve the right to set discretionary limits on specific items being purchased in
order to ensure there are enough of those items for other customers.
How am I able to use percent‐off coupons?
Percent‐off coupons may be used on non‐promotional/non‐sale items. Exclusions are displayed on each of the coupons.
How do I use digital ExtraCare coupons or ExtraCare coupons that have been sent to my card?
You are able to send available deals and coupons to your ExtraCare card from CVS.com® , the CVS Pharmacy mobile app, digital
receipts and CVS Pharmacy email. Click on the Send‐to‐Card® icon and view the success indicator on the landing page to ensure
it was loaded properly. To use it, purchase the necessary items the coupon is valid for and ensure your ExtraCare card is
scanned. The colleague will ensure it is applied to that transaction during the checkout process.
What is considered an ExtraCare coupon?
Any coupons and ExtraBucks Rewards that print at the ExtraCare Coupon Center; or are featured in your printed or digital
receipt, CVS Pharmacy mobile app, or on CVS.com are considered ExtraCare coupons. Quarterly ExtraBucks Rewards, circular
ExtraBucks Rewards, BeautyClub ExtraBucks Rewards, and Pharmacy & Health ExtraBucks Rewards® are all types of ExtraCare
ExtraBucks Rewards.

Manufacturer Coupons

Accept only one paper manufacturer coupon per item.
Walmart will follow the manufacturer’s limitations as stated on the coupon
Example: 4 coupons for the same item
There is no limit on the number of coupons (variety) that can be used in a total transaction
All coupons require the following information printed on them.
"Manufacturer Coupon"
A GS1 barcode that can be scanned
A valid remit billing address for the manufacturer of the product being purchased
A valid expiration date and must be presented before expiration
Walmart accepts Dollars/Cents Off coupons and BOGO (Buy One Get One Free)

SELF RELIANCE EXPO 2013 - An ADVENTURE TO REMEMBER

After watching an interesting and very enthralling tv show from last year called INDEPENDENCE USA, staring Frank Belcastro and his family, my wife and I saw a commercial for the 2013 Self Reliance Expo and we said we gotta go. Low and behold Mr. Frank Belcastro himself would be there speaking in person. So my family & I proceeded to drive a 9 hour round trip to Arlington Tx for all the knowledge we might gain.  My wife who is 7 months pregnant was gungho and ready to go, that was all the support I needed to make the treacherous drive and to enjoy 8 hours of this interesting expo. Below is a link to our description of INDEPENDENCE USA.  Family based, disaster preparedness and the journey to Self Reliance.

As we arrived at the Self Reliance Expo on April 26th, we knew were in the right place.  Outside the convention center sat a HUGE BUNKER, SOLAR PANELS & two very unique WIND TURBINES.  My wife and I looked at each other and said "the drive was worth it." The Self Reliance Expo was was filled with speakers ranging in talents from sprouting seeds, emergency medicine, homemade solar panels & of course Frank Belcastro. Here is a list of the speakers & their topics.

Prepare Where You Stand with Ron Douglas

Unlimited Energy, Making Life Easier in a Disaster with Steven Harris

Don't Let Rain Go Down the Drain: Rain Water Harvesting with Tom Spargo

We were lucky enough to get interviews with the founder of this wonderful event, Ron Douglas (  President of the National Self Reliance Organization ) Here it is Below.

RON DOUGLAS INTERVIEW - SELF RELIANCE EXPO 2013 ( FOUNDER OF THE EVENT )

There were many unique products we saw thru out the day some we got interviews with some we did not.  One of our favorite products was the life straw, unfortunately we couldnt get an interview with a vendor but it basically filters out 99.9% of contaminates including .  You can drink out of puddles, pond water or any other contaminated source and it will filter up to 250 gallons of water.  Once the filtering capacity has been reached, you will cease to be able to suck water thru it.  THE LIFE STRAW

In the mix there was an exciting Prepackaged Gasifier that will allow you power your generator of of nothing else but wood.  Wood chips, mulch or even diced up pallets where you can find almost everywhere for free!!

SELF RELIANCE EXPO 2013 LEAFGENERATOR ( PREPACKAGED GASIFIER )

There was a supplier of bulletproof bug out bags, backpacks and children's bags called I PACK LIFE.  This is a great alternative to a full set of body armor it is inconspicuous and gives you great mobility.

SELF RELIANCE EXPO 2013 - I PACK LIFE ( BULLET PROOF BUG OUT BAG & KIDS BAGS )

For all those hiking enthusiasts, survivalists and doomsday preppers we found and tried the new Berkey Go Bottle, all the great purification of the regular time tested Berkey filters in a convenient sports bottle.  Filtration you can count on anywhere.

BERKEY GO BOTTLE VIDEO - 2013 SELF RELIANCE EXPO

Last but not least we were able to find 4EVERRECAP - a new product that allows you to can all your produce, soup, salsas ect and continuously use the lids again and again.  Now you say, I've seen that before by a company that starts with a T.  Well the big difference in the two is that 4EVERRECAP has silicone seals as apposed to the other rubber ones out there, which gives them a longer life without drying out, cracking or warping. Can Away!!  We bought a box of 24

Well Thanks for Joining us on our Journey to the wonderful world of SELF RELIANCE.  Soon we will be posting our trip that we took to the completely off grid home called EARTHSHIP in Taos New Mexico.  As we work on building our own off grid home, with goats, chickens and fruit trees.

Have you ever wanted to put free gift cards or free cash into your pockets.  Well with the power of extreme couponing you now have that possibility.  Very often when shopping in an extreme couponing scenario you have overages and now you have the opportunity to turn these overages into those much desired gift cards and cash.

We have a video below that outlines the great stategy to put as much of these overages right into your pocket.  CVS and RITE AID both have this opportunity if you stucture your transactions correctly.  How it has been working lately is if you are using 20% off coupons, instore coupons stacked with manufacturers coupons or just maximizing all the money makers you take any and all overages and get gift cards with them.

You can then take these gift cards to plastic jungle if you want to instantly convert them into cash.  They will give you the option of getting a check mailed to you, having a pay pal transfer instantly or up to 24 hours and last but not least you can get a Amazon.com credit that will usually be slightly higher than the other two options.

My wife and I have done this a few times and it is always nice when we can convert our coupon bounty into some instant cash!!  Try it out and let us know how your hauls go.  There is plenty of free money and gift cards to go around.  To check out some of our Money maker startegies and extreme coupon tips and tricks check us out on YOUTUBE.com/THEGREENCABBY

EBAY - INCREASE BULK SALES BY STARTING A BIDDING WAR

Have you ever dreamed of making extra money or replacing your job with the freedom to steer  your destiny in the direction that you desire.  Well selling on EBAY gives you the possibility to accomplish both these pursuits and much more.

Today I wanted to tell you about a SECRET STRATEGY that EBAY POWERSELLERS utilize each and everyday to maximize bulk sales and increase revenue.  This strategy is plain and simply to incite a bidding war on products that you have large amounts of.  This will allow you to send a SECOND CHANCE OFFER to each and every one of the bidders who are all interested in your product.

You may ask how can I get all these interested bidders.  Well the answer is look up the price of the item that has previously sold on ebay, this is the price that the market will bear.  Once you have this dollar amount that your product regularly sells for, price your item 10-20% lower. I have a video below that will show you how to look up these prices for sold items on ebay.

Now that you know how to price your item, all you have to do is wait for your bids to come in.  I personally list my items for 7 days to allow enough people to be able to see you item.  If you have an item that will be slightly harder to sell you may opt to list it for 30 days, yet this will sometimes cost you more. Once you have gotten to the end of your sale and you have your bids collected ship out your paid for and sold item; then start sending second chance offers to the other bidders.  I will usually set the sale time to 3 days so they have plenty of time to respond. Now this second chance offer goes to them at the price that they bid, which means that you are guaranteed that price if they accept the offer.

This is how a recent scenario looked.  I usually sell a lot of  15 Dr Scholl's Double Air Pillo Insoles for $25 with $12 shipping.  I started my Bidding for this item @ $21 I had 5 Bids below the winning bid
  • $21
  • $23.50
  • $25.50
  • $27
  • $29.50
AND THE WINNING BID OF $ 30
Now if you look at it, I did take a risk by listing my product lower than I usually sell it.  I could have had one bidder at just $21.  Sometimes you have to take a calculated risk to be successful!  After all was said and done I sent out 5 SECOND CHANCE OFFERS and 4 were ACCEPTED.  The crazy thing is, the bidder that didn't accept was the lowest bidder of $21.

This one strategy let us move substantially more product with just one auction, which also greatly increased our sales and revenue.  We will bring you many more EBAY strategies in the future. Thanks for your time and interest.  Here is a video explaining this strateg on our Youtube site  THEGREENCABBY

CONFIRMED - NEW CVS COUPON POLICY FACTS - SAD DAY :o (

Hello COUPONERS!!
My wife and I consistently shop at about 6 of our local CVS pharmacies and we are always on the look out for small changes or discrepancies in their coupon policy.  We definitely know that in the world of EXTREME COUPONING even the smallest coupon policy changes can cost you thousands of dollars in savings!!  For families that are struggling to just get by this can make a huge difference.  Here are some of the latest changes we have seen that could really affect your pocket book today and for years to come.  There is a step by step breakdown in the video.

You can't use two of the same CVS coupons in one transaction.
You can't stack a coupon where it says to get a dollar amount off when spending a certain amount of money with another coupon that is not necessarily the same, but the same type of coupon. Like $4 of 15 on Shampoo, can no longer be combined with a $4 off 20 coupon if you only have $20 in merchandise!
And you can't use a 20% off CVS coupon for items that are buy one get one free or that have even a penny discount, watch out for cvs employee price modifiers.

HOPE THE INFO HELPS HAPPY COUPONING !!

ALERT - EBAY LIMITS YOUR SALES - BEWARE !!!

My wife and I have recently been taking our extreme couponing bounty and selling the items that we dont like or need.  Ebay has been a great outlet for this, allowing us to make some additional money and pay off bills before our little bundle of joy arrives.  For the last few months we have been selling products oblivious to the fact that BIG BROTHER EBAY was lurking in the background, watching and waiting to limit the items that we could sell on their website. Here is the story of what transpired and how we used our persistence to overcome the EBAY ADVERSITY!!
